Abstract:Kashgar river basin is located in Kashgar region in the southwest of Xinjiang. It has an arid and semi-arid climate. Affected by natural conditions and human agricultural activities, the problem of soil salinization in the basin is very serious. Taking Kashgar River Basin as the research object, according to the sampled and detected soil soluble salt data and the collected soil salinization related data in the study area in previous years, this paper summarizes the distribution characteristics of soil salinization in the study area by using geostatistics, GIS technology, dynamic degree model and gravity center transfer model, and analyzes the salinization evolution law on time scale. The results show that: (1) The mild and moderate soil salinization in the study area is distributed in the middle and upper reaches of the basin, while the severe and extremely severe salinization are distributed in the middle and lower reaches of the basin; (2) The soil salinization in the whole study area generally accelerated from 1970 to 2010, and the degree of salinization fluctuated and slowed down from 2010 to 2019; (3) The center of gravity of mild and moderate soil salinization in the study area moves to the southwest and Aktao county and Yingjisha county, while the center of gravity of severe and extremely severe saline land moves to the northeast and Jiashi county and Yuepuhu county. The research results have practical significance for soil salinization control and agricultural sustainable development in the study area.
