Abstract:In order to analyze the applicability of the strength failure criteria of gas hydrates with different saturations under different confining pressures under constant triaxial compression, based on the Mohr-Coulomb, Mogi-Coulomb, Hoek-Brown, generalized Hoek-Brown and Drucker-Prager criteria, combined the deviator stress-strain curve of natural gas hydrate under low confining pressure is used to fit the strength of natural gas hydrate. The results show that the average error rate between the calculated values of the Mogi-Coulomb criterion and the Drucker-Prager strength criterion and the experimental value is less than 2%, and the correlation coefficient of the fitted curve is greater than 0.99, indicating that these two strength criteria have high consistency with the experimental structure. -Brown criterion fitting curve correlation coefficient is less than 0.95, which is not applicable under low confining pressure of natural gas hydrate. The research results can provide a theoretical reference for the research on the stability of natural gas hydrate wellbore and ensure the safety of hydrate mining.
