Electromagnetic-wave absorbing material is the key material for stealth technique. With rapid progress of stealth technique in recent years, more attention has been paid to the absorbing material in many countries. Two calculational methods for single layer wave absorbing materials are discussed in detail. In addition, the characteristic of the two methods are contrasted.
