The theory on elastic impact was used to analyze the shock effect of single particle, which is the main influencing factor of aircraft coating erosion. Calculation and analysis on normal force and tangential force which created during the skewed collision by single particle versus spherical body were involved. The most dangerous angle of incident and area of aircraft coating were gained. The result of calculation shows an agreement with the experimental values.
