The Distributed Speech Recognition (DSR) to design and implement the voice dialing system of the mobile phone are introduced. The feature parameters are extracted on the site of client (phone), then transmitted over a channel to the server to train and recognize, and the results are sent back to the client (phone). Through the experiment, the recognition rate of this voice dialing system is above 90%. The quality of the voice and the speed of the recognition process are improved greatly.
