Antisense strategy is a kind of newly rising biotechnology which can selectively block gene expression by using sequence-specific antisense oligonucleotides.Its emergence stired up a new technical revolution in tbe fields of basic research,clinical trial and drug development.The mechanism,classification and characteristics of antisense oligonucleotides and its application in relative fields are reviewed.
