Phase matching,which is done in frequency domain,exploits phase in frequency domain as matching primitives.The matching approaches are done from coarse to fine and this makes the approach to be a multiresolution progress.The biorthogonal wavelet and Hilbert transform are used to construct a band split filter based on the constructing of analytical signal.This makes multiresolution matching approaches combined well with the approaches of extracting of phase by using multiresolution wavelet transform.
