Abstract:In order to improve the orientating accuracy, the influence of positioning error was investigated. In this paper, the basic model for satellite orientating was first given. Based on this, the mathematical models which denote the impacts of longitude error and latitude error on orientation accuracy was then deduced. Finally, an experiment was carried out to validate the theoretical derivation. The results show that: the longitude error is the main error source which is proportional to the orientation error; the latitude error has a non-linear relationship with orientation error and its influence is much lower than longitude. Besides, the influence of longitude error is related to the station latitude. The higher the latitude , the greater the influence.
