Abstract:The aircraft landing gear system is an important load bearing component to support aircraft weight and absorb impacting energy when the aircraft parking on the ground, taxiing on the runway and landing on the ground. It is also a takeoff and landing device that provides taxiing and braking manipulation. The vibration of the aircraft may affect the stability and safety of the aircraft, reduce the comfort of pilots and passengers, even lead to flight accidents. The aircraft vibration mainly comes from the following two aspects. The irregularities of runway may lead to the vibration of the fuselage when the aircraft is taxiing on the runway. The impact from the ground may lead to vibration of the fuselage when the aircraft is landing on the ground. In the present paper, the nonlinear dynamics of aircraft landing gear vibrating system is summarized, including the nonlinear dynamic behavior mechanism of aircraft landing structure vibration, vibration and control of landing gear impact and vertical vibration, vibration and control of landing gear shimmy. The study and progress of nonlinear dynamics, active and semi-active control of landing gear vibration system are reviewed and the prospect of landing gear vibrating system is also discussed.
