Abstract:Aimed at solving the problems in reinforced concrete bar demolition blasting projects such as the difficulty of drilling blast holes in reinforced concrete, high cost and serious environmental impact, the concept of green demolition blasting was presented. The means to realize this concept include introducing the full-life design concept into the whole process of design, construct and demolition of reinforced concrete bars and pre-burying pipes as blasting holes when designing and building the bars. Furthermore, to solve the problem of consuming too many explosive materials and too complicated operations in pre-burying vertical-to-axised pipes as blast holes, a new technology featured as using pre-buried axial pipes as blast holes was put forward, and its feasibility was verified in terms of its structural mechanical impact. Finally, taken the demolition blasting of temporary supporting reinforced concrete beams for foundation pit stabilization as example, it was compared that the dynamic response of the beams, reliability, safety, cost and operational difficulty of the two demolittion blasting technologies. The results showed that the new technology was better.
