Objective: Aimed at observing the anti-inflammatory effect of Yi Guanjian decoction. Method: After decocting and concenttrating all the Chinese herbal medicinal ingredient of Yi Guanjian, the methods that we had adopted to measure the left hind paw swelling degree of Sprague-Dawley induced by carrageenin and auricular swelling degree and resistant rate caused by dimthylphenanthrene were taken as indexes to analyze the anti-infammatory function of Yi Guanjian decoction. Results: The concentrated solution of Yi Guanjian has certain inhibitory effect on the foot swelling of rats, and has an obvious difference that compared to the model group (p<0.05), its work time slightly longer than the positive group. Conclusion: The research indicated that Yi Guanjian decoction has some certain anti-inflammatory effect and has equal effect with aspirin.
