Abstract:Study on shear strength of solidified loess under freeze-thaw cycles, Ningxia Ningdong industrial park loess,were mixed with 2% cement 10% silica micro powder for solidification, solidified loess shear strength of the 7 d and 28 d age, 28 d age 3 and 9 times of freeze-thaw cycle investigated by tri-axial test, respectively. The results show that 7, 28 d age loess compared with the ages of 7, 28 d age solidified loess, cement and silicon micro powder has significant effects on the cohesion of loess,7 d age cohesion of solidified loess increased 33.99 times, 28 d age cohesion of solidified loess increased 57.34 times.Cohesion of loess was reduced by 30.3% under 3 times of freeze-thaw cycles,cohesion of loess was reduced by 88.8% under 9 times of freeze-thaw cycles. cohesion of solidified loess was reduced by 8.3% under 9 times of freeze-thaw cycles. Silica micro powder and cement mixing loess, the deformation of loess and plastic material properties to the stabilized loess deformation of brittle material, Silica micro powder and cement added to loess effectively improve the load-bearing capacityof loess.
