Abstract:The similarities are commonly seen in Guizhou mountain regions in terms of occurrence characteristics of mine geological hazards induced by coal mining. Based on analysis of slope characteristics and deformation mechanism of high Zhongling slope in Nayong county,Guizhou, its conceptual model of the evolution mechanism was established. The evolution process was divided into two stages, namely, the stage of compression-toppling deformation and the stage of subsidence-toppling-cracking of the goaf. Numerical analysis method was adopted to simulate observation nodes displacement above the coal mine of Zhongling slope during underground mining overall process, and the nodes motion law made a good explanation for the location and range of the collapse. When underground stoping happened to the ore bed in the lower part of steep and terribly steep slope, rockfall controlled by the goaf is easy to form. Weak intercalation in steep slope section would be indented inward by selective weathering, resulting in local overhanging slope in slope surface. Affected by goaf, rock mass discontinuity breaking through upward will turn the overhanging rock mass into dangerous rock body.
