This paper chose ZY-1 02C 2.36m high-resolution and 10m multi-spectral imagery as data sources. According to the characteristics of the experimental zone, the authors processed the images to get the multi-spectral and high-resolution images. Then extracted land use information by object-oriented classification. This paper studied the features and the applied potential of ZY-1 02C data at last. Results show that: the optimal fusion method is Pansharp; Object-oriented classification method can make full use of ZY-1 02C high resolution imagery, the classification accuracy and Kappa coefficient are 93.04% and 0.89, better than the traditional supervised classification. These all prove that the ZY-1 02C data can effectively apply to the land-use macroscopic monitoring.
