Hydrocarbon generating pressure-boosting is important in the development of overpressure in West Part of Dongying Depression by analyzing single well pressure, profile pressure and geochemical characteristics. Through the evaluation of the organic matter and burial history - evolution analysis of the source rocks ,we discuss the mechanism of hydrocarbon generation pressurization. Combined with hydrocarbon generation pressurization analysis, we establish the generation model of overpressure in West Part of Dongying Depression and divides the evolution of overpressure into three parts: the normal compaction stage, under-compaction and early maturation stage ,the mass generation and expulsion of hydrocarbon. hydrocarbon generation pressurization has played an important role in the later stages of the overpressure formation.
