Statistical analysis of hail precipitation measured by hail and precipitation detector, automatic hail and precipitation detector and hail measurement board from 13 meteorological stations in Zhangjiakou during 1985~1987, were conducted. Climate characteristics, time evolution and geographic distribution of hailamount over the region were presented.
