Abstract:Inhibitors are produced during pretreatment of corn stalk, which is limited to ethanol product. The effect of seven model inhibitors on ethanol production using cerevisiae was researched and detoxification experiment of pretreated corn stalk (PCS) was conducted. Enzymatic hydrolysis and Saccharification process were also studied in this article. Benzene hydrocarbons inhibit saccharomyces cerevisiae more seriously than furan derivatives and weak acids respectively. The enzymatic hydrolysis and fermentation results of PCS under extrusion treatment after cleaning with water till to neutral were better than untreated and singly extrusion. Glucose and ethanol concentration reached 12.23 %(72h) and 5.82 w%(96h), respectively, in 30% total solids content system.
