Abstract:High temperature resistant and pressure-bearing water-absorbent resin Poly-gel was synthesized using acrylamide (AM), 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS) as raw materials and N,N'-methylene-bis-(acrylamide)(MBA) as cross-linking agent in aqueous solution by means of orthogonal experiment designed, the structure of the copolymer was characterized. The properties of the product synthesized were evaluated, the results showed that this copolymer Poly-gel was of high temperature resistant up to 135℃ and salt tolerant, and that it has extraordinary pressure-bearing and plugging ability as high as 700psi.
