Abstract:Four-position north-seeking method is the most accurate in the north-seeking north finder, the easiest system composed to find north. Whether turntable table tilt or not, only one gyro is needed to complete the north-seeking. In practice, however, the turntable shaft will certainly be a certain degree of swing, this causes the north-seeking accuracy greatly reduced. In order to analyze and solve this problem, in this paper, we make the north-seeking simulation in the case of shaft swing after accelerometer compensation. The Simulation results show that, Shaft wobble slightly larger, Conventional rotating modulation north-seeking method will have Great north-seeking error, it can’t be carried out. After the compensate of acceleration for the swing, no matter how severe the shaft swinging, the north-seeking results are not very great fluctuations, it can reach the north-seeking requirements. so it can greatly reduced north finder prototype machining precision, greatly reduce the processing costs.
