In order to increase the compression ratio and reduce distortion of the original image, inthis paper is given based on the Db wavelet basis of derivation. Use of Mallat decomposition andreconstruction compared Db wavelet and 9-7 wavelet compression. Therefore, this study using wavelet transform for image processing and other aspects of good value.
