Abstract:An dynamic adaptive threshold algorithm based on the energy of the wavelet coefficients. first decompose the signal with discrete wavelet transform, obtain each scales compression threshold of wavelet coefficients use the energy distribution of the wavelet coefficients on each scale and the wavelet coefficient energy centrality. That can be adapted to maintain the most energy, and take into account the compression ratio. By the simulation, this threshold algorithm for the multiple wavelet and different decomposition scales with the same compression performance, compared with the Birge-Massart strategy and the global threshold, integrated compression rate and energy reserve excelled Birge-Massart strategies and global threshold algorithm.
