Abstract:Designing open and closed systems to simulate the primary cracking of organic matter from Dongying Depression into hydrocarbon (oil, gas) and the secondary cracking of crude oil into gas. Based on the simulation results, the corresponding chemical kinetic model was established and calibrated. Then we applied the model in geology and got hydrocarbon generation profiles by combining with geological history and thermal history data. After these, the organic matter abundance and hydrocarbon generation potential of the study area were recovered by using hydrocarbon profiles. At last, we combined with the situation of the development of source rocks and hydrocarbon residues to calculate the quantity of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion, and at the same time, determined the migration and accumulation coefficient for oil and gas resource evaluation based on comprehensive geological conditions of the study area. The results demonstrate that the oil and gas resource was 29.65 ?108t and 4.89 ?1011m3 in Es4-Ek of Dongying Depression.
