Abstract:This paper brings forward a viewpoint that we should denote the multi-project “bottle neck” with critical chain bundle, taking into account the characteristic of multi-project and the influence the sub-projects have on the total objective of the corporation. Then, we’ll combine the theory of constraints with multiple projects, study the identifying of the critical chain bundle and the setting of the buffers, adopting and ameliorating the traditional method of critical chain management. At last, there is a simple example to demonstrate the process.
