The high-speed flow distribution during the magnetospheric substorm is investigated using the numerical simulation with the realistic magnetotail geometry. The results indicate that the high-speed flows perpendicular to the magnetic field are mainly distributed in the current sheet in the range of ,and that parallel to the magnetic field are mainly distributed in two areas: the strong magnetic field areas in the Near-Earth and in the near the plasma sheet.
