The slide of Mu-Ya garden landslide is consisted of Silty clay，and the Slip zone is composed of Silty clay with angular mudstone. highly weathered mudstone constitutes the bedrock under the Slip zone．It is a landslide of Residual deposits type．It is shown that the formation of landslide is on the basis of terrain，ground feature and lithology；infiltration of rain lead to rock mass weakening of physical and mechanical properties，which force the slope to experience the deformation process of creeping -tension fracture –shearing；and then the landslide is generated.
