Abstract:Based on the experiments, the test results indicated that the strength and performance of recycled aggregate prepared with natural aggregate which was substitute with recycled aggregate partly or completely were different from common concrete. The influence of recycled aggregate replacement rate on properties of concrete with the same water-cement ratio was discussed in this paper. As shown in the results, on the performance, the fluidness of recycled aggregate concrete decreases with the addition of recycled aggregate, but the cohesiveness and the water-retaining property increases,. On the strength, it is benefit for the strength of recycled aggregate concrete when the recycled aggregate replacement rate reaches around 50%.
