Protocol robustness test is a effect method that can avoid abnormal packets attack resulting the security for the equipment. The paper introduces what is protocol robustness test and researches some method for protocol robustness test. Then, it designed the protocol robustness test tool based on XML, and gave a example to verify，and tested some vulnerabilities in the network products And it proves that this method is efficient for testing security vulnerabilities
