The character of converter residue sludge in metallurgy was introduced ,then it compared the characters of some commonly-used sludge dehydrators, and the problems in their utility . As a example ，belt pressure filter was introduced in disposing of converter residue sludge in detail ,and was regarded as the best facility and should be popularization.
