Abstract:Discussing the structure of water use is of great significance for realizing the optimal allocation of regional water resources and coordinated economic development. In accordance with the water utilization data of Handan City from 2008 to 2017, the temporal evolution and spatial distribution differences of this region’s water utilization structure was analyzed by using the approaches of information entropy theory, Lorenz curve, Gini coefficient and so on, and its spatial evolution characteristics was verified from the point of view of economic development by using gravity center model. In the aspect of spatial dynamic distribution, the evolution of water utilization structure shows prominent regional differences and the water utilization gravity centers of agriculture, industry and life using are mainly distributed in the eastern, northwestern and central regions of Handan City. On the basis of regional heterogeneity, Handan City are supposed to implement policies subject to its areas, adjust and optimize industrial structure reasonably, promote factors agglomeration, realize spatial coordination of regional economy and water resources, and give impetus to the high quality development of regional economy.
