Abstract:Sea-land transition phase mud shale is an important field of shale gas exploration and development. In this paper, the core samples of Upper Triassic Shezi Group shale as the research object in Well Yunnanludi3,Chuxiong Basin, combining with the organic geochemical characteristics of the shale, using scanning electron microscope,whole-rock X-ray diffraction analysis, porosity and permeability Measurement experiments, field analytical experiments, nuclear magnetic resonance, and other technologies, are used to analyze and test for analyzing the characteristics of shale reservoirs. The results show that the kerogen type of the Upper Triassic Shezi Group shale in Well Yunnanludi 3 is all type II2,The organic carbon content in the lower shale of Shezi Formation is relatively high, mainly between 0.4% and 1.25%,the organic matter maturity is mainly in the over-mature stage;and the minerals are mainly composed of brittle minerals, carbonate minerals, and clay minerals; The content of brittle minerals is relatively high and the average is 40.87%,which is conducive to the fracturing of shale gas,the porosity between 0.6% and 1.6%,with an average of 1.01%,and the permeability between 0.0009652×10-3μm2 and 0.0335421×10-3μm2,with an average of 0.007027×10-3μm2,showing low-porosity and low-permeability. The reservoir space is dominated by interlayer seam and grain margin seam of clay minerals. The pore types are mainly micro-pores and small pores, with a small number of middle pores. The connectivity between pores is poor, and the gas content is relatively low between 0.06m3/t and 1.00m3/t,and the average value is 0.564m3/t. By comparing the geological conditions of shale gas with those of Marine and continental transitional shale gas exploration areas in China, it can be concluded that the shale shale of upper Triassic Shezi Formation in Chuxiong Basin has good shale gas exploration potential.
