Abstract:The cement concrete pavement has the advantages of high strength and good durability, which can be used in special regions, such as permafrost and seasonal-frost regions. However, the performance of cement concrete pavement can be greatly influenced by the surrounding temperature and the quality of construction, and its curing time is relatively longer. The precast concrete pavement can address the common issues of using the ordinary cement concrete as the pavement surface material, and it also provides an alternative solution for rapid repair of pavement surface distresses. The research status and application of the precast concrete pavement were elaborated in this review. Four engineering applications were assessed in terms of design and construction, including concrete block pavement, precast concrete pavement for repairing, prefabricate concrete pavement, and precast prestressed concrete pavement, respectively. The structure and construction technologies of precast concrete pavement were summarized systematically, and evaluation and prospect of this technology were put forward.
