Abstract:The Nanchong structure is located on the slope of the central uplift of the Sichuan Basin. It is also the overlapping area of Longmenshan tectonic belt, Dabashan tectonic belt and Huayingshan tectonic belt in different directions and different periods. Therefore, it is of great practical and theoretical significance to research the Nanchong structure in central Sichuan Basin. Based on regional geological data, seismic data and physical simulation experimental means, the genesis mechanism of Nanchong structure is analyzed in this paper. The results show that the Nanchong structure was formed in the late Yanshanian movement and finalized in the Himalayan period. Through the design and implementation of structural physical simulation experiments, the possibility of forming Nanchong structure under uplift is verified.
