Abstract:Abstract: The buried hills have the long evolution history, with characteristics of fractured formation structure and deep burial in Zhuanghai area. Due to characteristics of the fractured carbonate reservoirs, the petrophysical properties are variable greatly and the shape of reservoir in space is very different. Its reflection on seismic is disordered, so it is difficult to predict the effective reservoir. In this view, a new autocorrelation function is constructed by introducing a directionality factor into a mixed autocorrelation function, and the resulted random media will be certain directional. Based on this, fractured media models with different statistical characteristics are created by thresholding and designating the lengths of semi-major and semi-minor axes of fractures as well as local fracture density. These models can be used to effectively describe complex fractures of varying sizes, density, orientations, and filling rates. Then a double-porous medium superposition model is developed for buried hill in Zhuanghai area using borehole data、seismic data and results of well logging interpretation. After that, seismic wave field forward modeling technique for heterogeneous media is performed to the seismic response characteristics of buried hill reservoir .The results of forward modeling suggests that the larger the scale, higher the density, smaller the filling velocity and the development angle of fractured reservoirs in the lower Paleozoic in the study area, make the stronger reflection energy of different intensity on the seismic profile, which provides a basis for the identification and prediction of wave field characteristics of fractured reservoirs in buried hills. On this basis, by integrating the dip angle and energy properties sensitive to the fracture reservoirs in the study area, the plane distribution characteristics of the Lower Paleozoic fracture reservoirs in the buried hills are effectively predicted, which provides effective technical support for studying the buried hills and oils exploration provides in the future.
