The Qixia formation in southwestern Sichuan has a good potential for exploration and development, The reservoirs in Qixia formation are divided into dolomite reservoirs and limestone reservoirs. Dolomite reservoirs are mainly developed in the second member of the Qixia formation, and the limestone reservoirs are mainly developed in the first member of Qixia formation. In order to solve the problem of multi solution in reservoir seismic identification in this area, the seismic response characteristics and seismic response characteristics of different reservoir development types are studied in combination with well logging data and high resolution seismic data. The results show that there are 5 types of reservoir development, corresponding to 5 types of seismic facies. Type I seismic facies correspond to reservoirs developed in the upper and middle parts of the second member of the Qixia formation. Type II seismic facies correspond to reservoirs developed in the middle and lower part of the second member of the Qixia formation. Type III seismic facies correspond to reservoirs developed in the upper part of the first member of the Qixia formation. Type IV seismic facies correspond to reservoirs developed in the middle and lower part of the first member of the Qixia formation. Type V seismic facies correspond to no reservoirs in Qixia formation. The results of the study have achieved good results.
