Abstract:Orthogonal experiment was carried out to study the corrosion behavior of carbon steel in fraction oil containing naphthenic acid at high temperature and atmospheric pressure. The influence of acid number, temperature, and reaction time on the behavior of naphthenic acid corrosion was investigated. The results indicated that among the influence factors, acid number plays a key role, temperature is the second influence factor, and time has the slight effect. At the same corrosion environment, the corrosion rate of naphthenic acid drops with the increase of its molecular weight.
