Abstract:Stepper motor has been widely used in various fields such as automatic controlling systems and pr閏ising machines. The research on subdivision drive of stepper motor is now heated studied. A new type of stepper motor subdivision drive circuit was designed in this paper. The bipolar two-phase hybrid stepping motor integrated with chip L6217A was mainly used in this drive circuit to realize the ability of current subdivision. This drive circuit was controlled by the SCM AT89C51. It turns out in the experiment that the designed controlling circuit has the advantages of high precise subdivision, steadily operation as well as low noise, low power dissipation, high reliability, high performance cost ratio.
