Both FTP and TFTP are very popular file-transfer protocols .One is apt to point-to-point occasion while the other is apt to point-to-multipoint small file–transfer occasion. So how do we do when facing on a 4G file and huge numbers of telecommunication servers? Using multi-thread and FTP will occupy almost all the CPU and NET resources. Apparently it’s not a good way out. The Author merged the traits of FTP and TFTP, using TCP link for data control and Multicast for data sending, designed a new file-transfer protocol –RTFTP and implemented a reliable file-transfer system at the same time highly improves the file-transfer’s efficiency.
